Is microblading a tattoo? In the beginning it was considered to be a tattoo because the pigment was implemented in a deeper layer of the skin using eyebrow ink and it lasted for many years if not forever, it was commonly known as permanent make-up. Nowadays, the technique has improved a lot and is implemented in a superficial layer of the skin.
However, it really depends on the kind of professional you go to and of course, your likes. But, the choice you make can have consequences if the professional does not implant the pigment in the correct layer or implants it too deep into the skin.
My technique is focused on giving a natural look to the client and with that, it is implanted in the papillary dermis layer of the skin. It lasts from 7-14 months - the pigment will not change color or expand. It will gradually fade untill there is nothing left. On the other hand, if the pigment is implanted too deep, the pigment will vary from its color and expand to other areas of the skin. I reccomend choosing your professional with care, ask for pictures of their porcedures, ask for healed results (how the eyebrow looks after 30-days)- do not just choose anyone!
