Nanoblading procedure by Maya Louredo
Micropigmentation
Nanoblading is a specialized technique where delicate hairstrokes are meticulously crafted on the skin using a hand tool equipped with nano needles. This superficial procedure involves the precise deposition of pigment into the papillary dermis layer of the skin.
Maya's nanoblading technique is centered around a highly customized approach. Each client’s unique features are thoroughly analyzed to create the ideal brow shape that complements their natural appearance. The process also includes personalized color preparation to match the client's natural eyebrow hair color, ensuring a seamless blend.
The hairstrokes are tailored to each client, following the natural direction of their eyebrow hair. This ensures that the final result blends effortlessly with the existing hair, achieving a natural and realistic look. Unlike traditional tattoos, Maya's procedure is designed to fade completely over time.
The duration of the results can vary, typically lasting between 9 to 14 months, depending on factors such as aftercare, skin type, and age.
A follow-up session may be required after 30 days to refine the results, but this is not mandatory and varies from client to client. Additionally, all necessary aftercare products will be provided for the healing process.
The process takes approximately 2 hours, with a pre-numbing cream applied to ensure your comfort throughout the session.

WHY CHOOSE NANOBLADING Eyebrows play a crucial role in harmonizing our facial features, influencing how others perceive and respond to us. They bring emotion and expression to the face, and the wrong shape can leave you looking tired, angry, or older than you are. On the other hand, the right eyebrow shape can accentuate your eyes, define your face, and even make you appear more youthful—it's no wonder we’re all so focused on getting them just right. Unfortunately, many of us aren’t born with perfectly shaped, full brows. Health conditions like alopecia, immune disorders, or the effects of cancer treatment can lead to partial or complete loss of eyebrow hairs. The daily routine of drawing in your desired shape with a pencil can take up to 15 minutes each morning, only to have your work smudge, wash off, or fade away throughout the day, requiring you to start over again the next morning. Every. Single. Day. That’s why so many people turn to nanoblading. Not only does it save time, money, and eliminate the inconvenience of daily brow maintenance, but having an expert perform your nanoblading ensures that your natural brow hairs remain intact where the shape is created. This means that over time, you’ll not only enjoy beautifully nanobladed brows but also fuller, natural brows as well.
HEALING PROCESS After your nanoblading procedure, it's normal for your eyebrows to appear darker than expected initially. This is temporary, and as your skin heals, the color will gradually soften to a more natural shade. To ensure the best healing and color retention, gentle cleaning and ointment application are essential. You should clean your brows daily with a gentle cleanser and apply the recommended ointment to keep the area moisturized. Following this routine can help minimize or even eliminate scabbing, leading to smoother healing. During the first 30 days, you may notice some changes in color and appearance as your brows settle into their final look. The healing process varies for each individual, but most clients will experience some fading and slight peeling, which is all part of the normal healing process. In about 20% of cases, a follow-up session may be required to perfect the results and ensure your brows look their best. If necessary, touch-up can be performed once the healing process is complete, typically around 5 to 6 weeks after the initial procedure.
HOW LONG IT LASTS On average, dermopigmentation lasts between 8 to 15 months, depending on factors such as skin type, metabolism, lifestyle, and age. After the initial healing period, we can review your results together and determine if a follow-up is needed to achieve your desired look. To extend the longevity of your dermopigmentation, it’s essential to apply sunscreen daily on your brows to prevent sun damage, as sun exposure is a primary factor that can break down the pigment. Additionally, avoid applying acids and undergoing peels around the eyebrows, as these can also impact the longevity and appearance of your dermopigmentation.
CONTRAINDICATION Here are the main contraindications for nanoblading (or nanopigmentation): 1.Pregnancy and Nursing: It is generally advised to avoid nanoblading during pregnancy and breastfeeding due to hormonal changes that can affect the results and healing process. 2.Skin Conditions: Active skin conditions like eczema, psoriasis, or severe acne in the eyebrow area can interfere with the procedure and healing. 3.Open Wounds or Infections: Any open wounds, infections, or active dermatological issues in the eyebrow area should be resolved before undergoing nanoblading. 4.Recent Chemical Peels or Laser Treatments: If you’ve had chemical peels or laser treatments recently, it’s essential to wait until the skin has fully healed to avoid complications. 5.Certain Medications: Some medications, particularly blood thinners or medications that affect skin healing, may be contraindicated. Consult with your healthcare provider before proceeding. 6.Autoimmune Disorders: Conditions like lupus or other autoimmune disorders that affect the skin's healing process may impact the procedure’s effectiveness. 7.Allergies: Allergies to pigments or anesthesia can be a concern. A patch test may be necessary to ensure there’s no adverse reaction. 8.History of Keloids: If you have a history of keloid scarring, nanoblading may not be suitable due to the risk of excessive scarring. 9.Health Conditions: Certain health conditions, such as uncontrolled diabetes, may affect the healing process and the results of nanoblading.
